I made a last-minute booking and they were super helpful and welcoming. The room has recently undergone renovations and is of a high standard, with lovely fittings and fixtures. It has been thoughtfully laid out with all you could need. The bed was comfy and the shower lovely. Lovely staff who happily allowed an extra night's stay without any trouble.

"Clean, comfortable and well equipped with very lovely staff & owners. The beds were extremely comfortable, staff very friendly & helpful and the room was impeccably clean. It had everything I needed including scissors and a stove top. There were lovely touches in the kitchen such as plunger coffee, salt and pepper grinders and a good selection of dinnerware."

The owners are welcoming and gave us advice on places to visit and routes to take when we left. The whole site is very smart and tidy. Rooms are well equipped and super clean. Towels and consumables are replenished daily. It’s certainly great value for money."

"We had a last-minute stay at Braemar Motor Lodge and were blown away! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our newly refurbished room felt like a luxury hotel, spacious, modern, spotless, and beautifully decorated. The brand new bathroom and kitchen were stunning, and the duvet was so comfy! Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommend!"

"I have stayed at Braemar on multiple occasions. It's definitely my preferred choice when I visit Palmerston North. Cam and his team are very welcoming. They always go above and beyond what you normally expect. They would have my room serviced and ready early outside the normal routine to fit my schedule, which was always very appreciated. Looking forward to staying at Braemar again."
